This Privacy Policy explains how Qihome handles information when you use the App. Qihome is designed to work without requiring you to create an account or log in.
1. What information we collect
Qihome collects limited information to provide the App: • Photos you upload (room images). • AI request data needed to process your photo (e.g., prompts/instructions related to scoring, optimization, style, and color palette). • Basic technical data (e.g., device and app diagnostics, timestamps, error logs) to maintain reliability and prevent abuse. We do not require your name, email, or account credentials to use Qihome.
2. How we use information
We use information to: • Provide features (feng shui score, optimized image generation, style changes, and color palette variations). • Maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the App. • Enforce usage limits for free vs. subscription access and prevent fraud or abuse.
3. AI processing
Qihome uses LLMs (OpenAI and Gemini) to help generate the feng shui score and create/edit images. When you use these features, your uploaded image and related instructions are sent to LLMs for processing and returned to Qihome to show you the result. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data retention
Qihome does not store your uploaded photos or generated images on our servers. Images are processed in memory to provide the App's features and are not persisted after your request is complete. We may retain limited technical logs (e.g. error logs, timestamps) where needed for security, abuse prevention, debugging, or legal compliance.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We share information only as needed to provide the App: • Service providers: third parties that help run the App (e.g., hosting, AI processing such as OpenAI and Gemini). • Legal and safety: if required by law or to protect users, the public, or our rights. We do not sell your information to third parties.
6. Subscriptions and payments
If you purchase a subscription, payment processing is handled by the app store/platform provider (e.g., Apple or Google). Qihome does not receive your full payment card details from those providers.
7. Storage on your device
Depending on your device settings and how you use the App, generated images may be saved locally on your device (for example, if you choose to download or save to your gallery). This local storage is controlled by you and your device.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please avoid uploading highly sensitive images.
9. Children's privacy
Qihome is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to data processing). If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live (for example, where our service providers operate). We take steps intended to ensure an appropriate level of protection when data is transferred internationally.
11. Your choices and rights
Because Qihome does not require accounts, we may not be able to identify or retrieve your specific uploads after they are deleted. If you have questions about privacy or want to request access/deletion for information we can reasonably link to you, contact us.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "updatedAt" date shown in the App content response. Continued use of Qihome after changes means you accept the updated policy.
